Predictive Modelling is a common statistical method used to forecast behavior. A type of data-mining technology called predictive modeling solutions creates a model by evaluating both recent and historical data. This model is then used to better predict outcomes.

Predictive modeling involves gathering data, creating a statistical model, making predictions, and validating (or updating) the model when new data becomes available.
