SKU

Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) is a code (typically eight alphanumeric digits) that retailers or manufacturers assign to products to maintain internal stock levels. Each variation of a product, including different colors and sizes, has its own SKU number.

The SKU helps monitor and track inventory and allows retailers and companies to accurately account for every piece of their stock.
