Data Aggregation is a process by which raw data is collected and presented as a summary for quantitative analysis. Time aggregation and spatial aggregation are the two main types of data aggregation. Time aggregation involves gathering all data points for a single resource over a predetermined time frame. In spatial aggregation, all data points for a group of resources are collected over a specified time frame.
