The individual must have a thorough understanding of MicroStrategy architecture and the semantic layer – administration policies, techniques and methodologies. This is a multitasking role and the individual is expected to support multiple BI development.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience in Report Services, Dynamic Dashboard, Mobile Dashboards, Report development, and visualization using MSTR
• Experience in creating Micro Strategy Schema and application objects such as Logical tables, attributes, facts, Hierarchies, prompts etc
• Strong SQL skills and ability to create simple to complex Schema Objects as per the requirements
• Good understanding and knowledge of Star/ Snowflake, Data Warehouse, and reporting techniques
• Govern the MicroStrategy environment and continuously optimize the environment
• Proactively monitor and maintain the stability of the environment by leveraging
• MicroStrategy monitoring tools
• Perform user administration, including creation of users and groups, removing inactive users, and conducting license audits to ensure adherence to licensing requirements
• Develop automated mechanisms for deploying MicroStrategy projects and configuration changes across the various environments
• Implement MicroStrategy Intelligent Cube creation, management and automation
• Create & Maintain MicroStrategy Semantic layer to ensure data governance
• Support development teams for package, object and code migrations across environment
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for MicroStrategy environment configuration, development and administration guidelines/standards, support issues and maintenance
• Experience (Preferred) 2 to 3 years
